We use the established method of ‘trowel on’ which is necessary if specifications require thicker coatings, prefills, or angular falls in the floor. We can also do roll on coatings as an alternative – this is often quicker and a more cost effective solution, but generally only suitable for low impact areas.

Westland Milk
Blake Surfacings has been the preferred flooring contractor to Westland Milk Products for the past twenty years. We have completed several large projects for Westland Milk addressing specific hygienic flooring requirements, as well as completing remedial work, non-slip flooring and upgrading slippery polyester to epoxy flooring.
For the large projects we provided a trowel on floor coating allowing for regular hot caustic and acid wash CIP (clean in place) discharge to floor drains.
The Architect on these projects was Murray Ackroyd of DLA Architects Ltd who commented favourably on the quality of workmanship achieved, and the quality assurance plan we employed.
